Meet Tracie
My favorite time of day is early morning, before the sun rises, when my home is filled with peaceful stillness.
Several years ago, I decided to dedicate this tranquil time to Jesus and invite Him into my day. His Word anchors me to the Rock of my salvation; without it, I often feel lost in the chaos of busy days.
Recently retired and adapting to a more flexible schedule has given me the joy of exploring this beautiful country with my incredible husband, Tim. Much of our travel revolves around our four married children and eight grandchildren, who are spread throughout three states.
Being part of an active and vibrant church in our small community provides us with many opportunities to serve and share in advancing the Kingdom of God. Whether I’m walking through town, enjoying the beauty of parks, or gathering fresh produce from my garden, I see God’s artistry everywhere in His creation.
Being His child fills me with hope for tomorrow, joy for what lies ahead, and peace for eternity. He keeps His promise as I take each faithful step forward.
"But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 3:13-14

More About Tracie
As a young girl, I loved putting my thoughts on paper. Whether it was writing in my diary or sending letters to a pen pal, expressing myself felt so natural with a pencil in hand.
One of my first jobs gave me the exciting chance to interview people in my hometown and learn about their lives.
Now, hearing others’ stories continues to teach me priceless lessons and provides insights into life I might never have discovered otherwise.
Jesus has an amazing story for each of us, with a "happily ever after" ending. Through this devotion, I want to share the hope, joy, and peace I’ve found in Jesus. He truly is as good as He says He is!
